Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched a sharp attack today on social network X against the leaders of Britain, Canada, and France, while complimenting US President Donald Trump and emphasizing his conditions for ending the war in Gaza.

In a series of posts he published, Netanyahu attacked European leaders and claimed they are "offering a huge reward for the murderous attack on Israel on October 7" when they call on Israel to end the war before destroying Hamas and demand the establishment of a Palestinian state.

"By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed, and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa, and Paris are offering a huge reward for the murderous attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities", Netanyahu wrote.

The Prime Minister recalled the circumstances of the outbreak of the war and presented his clear conditions for its end: "The war began on October 7 when Palestinian terrorists breached our borders, murdered 1,200 innocent people, and kidnapped more than 250 additional innocent people to the basements of Gaza".

According to him, "The war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its weapons, its murderous leaders are expelled, and Gaza is demilitarized. No nation can accept less than this, and Israel certainly will not accept".

In contrast to the criticism he directed at European leaders, Netanyahu expressed explicit support for the US President: "Israel accepts President Trump's vision and calls on all European leaders to do so". This position emphasizes the strengthening relationship between the Prime Minister and the American President, who took office last January.

Netanyahu defined the current conflict in broader terms, as a cultural struggle between opposing values: "This is a war of civilization against barbarism. Israel will continue to defend itself by just means until achieving complete victory".

The strong statements come against the backdrop of growing international pressure to resolve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and demands for a ceasefire. Israel continues to insist that without the release of the remaining hostages and the disarmament of Hamas, the fighting will continue.

Netanyahu's words reflect the official Israeli position that any solution must include the return of the hostages, the demilitarization of Gaza, and the elimination of Hamas capabilities to prevent a future threat to Israeli citizens.

Netanyahu's strategy aims to strengthen the alliance with the US under Trump's leadership, while he deals with criticism from leading European countries. The clear distinction he makes between the US position and the European positions highlights the complex dynamics of international relations surrounding the Gaza crisis.

Netanyahu's statements reflect a deep sense of dissatisfaction with the European position, which is perceived by Israeli sovereignty as systematically ignoring the tangible and immediate security threat posed by the Hamas organization. On the other hand, he nurtures and deepens relations with the Trump administration, which is perceived as showing more pronounced sympathy and understanding towards Israeli positions.

As the campaign in Gaza continues and lengthens, it is evident that Netanyahu is working determinedly to mobilize international support for the conditions he has set for ending the armed conflict, while uncompromisingly emphasizing the deep commitment of the State of Israel to achieving its declared goals – returning the kidnapped citizens to the bosom of their families and the complete removal of the security threat hovering over the country's southern borders.
