In a sharp attack, MK Naama Lazimi labeled the Prime Minister as "Hamas financier and Qatar's No. 1 foreign agent", accusing him of sacrificing the lives of citizens, soldiers, and hostages while disregarding the value of the sanctity of life.
In fact, Knesset Member Naama Lazimi published a harsh message directed at the Prime Minister, in which she accused him of direct responsibility for harming human lives in the country. Additionally, she published eight hours ago:
"Netanyahu's offer to the Shin Bet head to retire in exchange for silence – is a bribe offer and proof that he is guilty. Netanyahu, who has already been charged with bribery, is bribing again. This is not a coincidence – it's a consistent policy of a criminal. Netanyahu poses a danger to state security, and investigations into serious security affairs involving him and his office could be compromised if we blink in the face of his actions. Ronen Bar must stick to his commitment to the state and its citizens – the Shin Bet head must not surrender to these dangerous compromises at the expense of the public and the state. We all know what Netanyahu's word is worth. The Hamas financier is afraid and willing to make extravagant offers to avoid exposing the findings and suspicions against him and his office".
In the stern message she published on the X network, Lazimi called the Prime Minister "Hamas financier and Qatar's No. 1 foreign agent", and accused him of empty talk about international pressure. "You are the chief sacrificer of human lives in Israel – hostages, citizens, soldiers", Lazimi wrote in direct reference to Netanyahu.
In the continuation of her message, Lazimi sharpened her tone: "You lack the most important thing for a leader and a human being – a basic value for human life". She added and said that "you and everyone around you are the destruction", in what was perceived as criticism of the entire government.
The Knesset member concluded her message with words that sparked a political storm: "After you, we will know resurrection. It will be soon". This statement immediately provoked angry reactions among government supporters, who saw it as a veiled threat toward the Prime Minister, while others interpreted it as a political forecast regarding Netanyahu's future in the public arena.
This statement by Lazimi joins a long line of exchanges of accusations between the opposition and the coalition in recent months, against the backdrop of the tense security situation and the ongoing negotiations for the return of the hostages.
The court has not yet ruled that the Prime Minister is a "foreign agent", and therefore the Knesset member's statements at this stage constitute defamation and an inappropriate personal example for the public. The social network X is not a lawless arena, and therefore the word published on it has significant meaning and weight.
In reactions to the publication, there were those who expressed support for Knesset Member Lazimi and claimed that her words, harsh as they may be, reflect the deep frustration prevailing among large sections of the public with the government's handling of recent crises.
As of the publication of this news, the Prime Minister's Office has not yet issued an official response to the statements of Knesset Member Lazimi.
Lazimi's harsh statement occurs at a particularly sensitive time, as political tensions in Israel reach new heights and polarization in Israeli society deepens. Political commentators assess that exchanges of accusations of this type are expected to continue and even intensify as the security situation continues to be complex and negotiations regarding the hostages are prolonged.
Statements of this type reflect the deep rift in Israeli political discourse, and they may further deepen the division in Israeli society at this time.
