Did the organization forget how many fingers humans have? This embarrassing mishap, broadcast on CNN and BBC, raises questions about whether this was an AI failure or a distorted understanding of basic anatomy.
While the world is engaged in negotiations, an embarrassing detail was revealed during the hostage release ceremony – a six-fingered fist appeared on Hamas's propaganda signs. It seems the organization, which struggles to count its hostages' days in captivity, also struggles with counting fingers. The graphic error, broadcast on CNN and BBC, raises questions about whether this was an AI failure or a mistake by the propaganda department, which is too busy staging embarrassing "release ceremonies."
The latest hostage release event raised interesting questions among vigilant viewers when a strange symbol appeared at the publicized release ceremony – a six-fingered fist on a sign presented to international media. The ceremony, documented by leading media outlets including CNN, BBC, and Israeli media, revealed this peculiar detail that raised questions about the organization's graphic design process. Graphic experts suggest that the use of AI design tools may have led to this error, reflecting either a technical or human failure in the design process.
During the ceremony itself, which was delayed by about four hours, the concerning condition of the three hostages – Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami, and Or Levy – was revealed. They appeared extremely thin and pale, supported by Hamas members. According to reports from Russia, the hostages received proper food only one day before their release, having previously subsisted on expired food provided only a few times per week.
The deal included the release of 183 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the three Israeli hostages. The Hostages' Families Headquarters responded to the disturbing images saying, "The images leave no room for doubt – they have no time".
While the strange graphic error of the six-fingered fist may seem like a minor detail, it reflects the unprofessionalism and disregard for details that characterized the entire ceremony – an event meant to present a certain image but instead revealed a disturbing glimpse of the reality behind the scenes.
