An IDF spokesperson stated that the Air Force continues sustained offensive operations against the Iranian regime’s fire systems, as part of efforts to reduce the scale of missile launches targeting civilians in the State of Israel. According to the statement, the strikes focus on operational assets used for launching missiles, with the aim of degrading Iran’s offensive capabilities.
In this context, the IDF released color footage of a precise strike targeting a truck that was used as a mobile ballistic missile launcher in the Tabriz area, in northwestern Iran. According to the report, this weapon system is designed to enable missile launches from varying locations, thereby complicating detection and interception.
The IDF spokesperson’s statement noted that the launcher was destroyed during the strike. It was further stated that this operation thwarted planned missile attacks against the State of Israel originating from western Iran.
The IDF emphasized that the Air Force continues to operate without interruption against targets associated with Iran’s missile-launching infrastructure, as part of a broader operational policy aimed at degrading offensive infrastructure and reducing the threat to Israel’s home front.
This report joins a series of recent operational actions which, according to the IDF, were intended to impair launch capabilities and prevent the execution of additional attacks against Israel.
