Greta Thunberg – a tool in Hamas's hands in the blockade-breaking flotilla, assists anti-Israeli propaganda and exploits the situation for political persecution under a humanitarian guise.

The ship The Madleen, sailing under the British flag toward the Gaza Strip as part of what is called the "blockade-breaking flotilla", entered the port of Alexandria, Egypt last night. On board are 12 pro-Palestinian activists, including Swedish youth Greta Thunberg, who was previously considered a symbol of environmental determination and is now identified as a defender of Palestinians and a supporter of Hamas, which is defined in Israel as a terrorist organization.

The International Committee for Breaking the Blockade on the Gaza Strip, headquartered in London, reported that the ship entered Egypt's territorial waters. In the morning hours, German activist Yasmin Aker announced that the ship The Madleen is already making its way toward the shores of the Palestinian territory. It is understood that the Israeli Navy will not allow the flotilla ships to approach Gaza's shores, which is currently in a state of ongoing warfare.

According to reports from June 8, 2025, pro-Palestinian activists identified with anti-Zionist positions, terror supporters with distinct antisemitic tendencies, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, known for her harsh statements against Israel, are currently located about 300 kilometers from Gaza's shores.

In the shadow of the painful memory of the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara voyage in 2010 – which ended with the deaths of nine activists and injuries to thirty others during the takeover by Shayetet 13 fighters – the current flotilla organizers took care to secure in advance the support of international organizations and human rights associations. According to them, any military action against the ship would constitute a "serious violation of international law".

From the committee's Twitter account it was reported: "The ship is gradually approaching Gaza's shores. We will arrive there in the next 48 hours". They called on the entire world to follow developments while delivering a sharp message: "Let the apartheid state understand that the whole world is watching. Your silence is your consent. Just a few miles away are children desperately needing clean water, food, and medicine. They live under incessant fire from Zionist attacks – and the world remains silent".

Additionally, at 16:50 on June 7, a message was sent from the ship The Madleen: "This is the seventh day aboard 'Madleen.' We are 288 nautical miles (about 533 kilometers) from Gaza, sailing with nothing but aid in our cargo – while others send weapons. This is not a show. This is a call to action".

This message was delivered by a radical activist identified as a terror supporter with open antisemitic positions, who seeks to convince the audience in the circus of subservience in which she participates that this is a "moral demonstration" and not a well-orchestrated show. But it's doubtful whether even the ship itself still believes this is an honest action. Most likely the show will reach its conclusion when the Hamas supporters on board meet with IDF forces.

Tiago Avila, a Brazilian activist identified with antisemitic positions, published on June 6, 2025, that this is the sixth day of the voyage aboard the ship "Madleen", intended to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip and create a humanitarian maritime corridor in the name of "the people". According to him, the freedom flotilla coalition will not cease its activity in the face of "Zionist" threats, and millions of people support their goals, alongside the twelve passengers aboard the ship.

Greta Thunberg, who assists Hamas, published on June 5, 2025, an official statement on behalf of the flotilla in which she expressed solidarity with Gaza journalists who, according to her, lost their colleagues in the bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, attributed to Israel. She also noted that during the blockade that intensified in October 2024 and the forced evacuation from the north of the Strip, she was exposed to those journalists' unwavering commitment to exposing the "truth" about what she defines as genocide.

In her statement, Thunberg mentioned the names of journalists who were attacked and killed while exposing Israel's actions: Suleiman Hajjaj, Palestine Today TV correspondent, Ismail Badaa, network photographer, Samir Al-Rifai from Shams agency, and Yusuf Al-Naqala from the National News Agency. According to Thunberg, the four documented acts of genocide under fire in the north of the Strip, and the attack on them is a war crime and a move designed to erase documentation of life, love, and Palestinian sovereignty.

At the end of her statement, Greta Thunberg added: "We are grateful for the partnership with these truth-tellers. Following their words, we share their work and bear witness to their determination to tell their people's story. This loss is a wound that breaks beyond borders. We will continue to amplify Gaza's voices and stand with every Palestinian journalist who risks everything for the truth to reach the world".

Greta Thunberg, an activist who previously labored in environmental struggle against garbage bins (pollution and landfills), has become Hamas's assistant. It's interesting what sums were paid to this game piece. We will find out and eventually publish how much she sold her soul to Hamas for. For her, the brutal attack carried out by Hamas on October 7 is routine business, while the actions of Israel's legitimate army in Gaza are unacceptable.

The flotilla arrives at a particularly sensitive time, as Israel continues its struggle against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip. The activists on the ship, led by Thunberg, are trying to exploit the difficult humanitarian situation in the Strip to advance a political agenda against Israel. The description of Israel as an "apartheid state" and the use of terms such as "Zionist attacks" reveal the flotilla's true objectives.

The incident recalls the Mavi Marmara case, but this time the activists aspire to adopt a different strategy. They base their moves on the presence of a known international figure, such as Thunberg, with the aim of attracting media attention and making it difficult for Israel to act against them. The call for international backing and threats about "violating international law" are designed to establish a media shield around the flotilla.

The ship is expected to continue its route toward Gaza's shores in the coming days, and the IDF will face the challenge of stopping it without causing an international incident that could harm Israel.

The activists on board, including Thunberg and Avila, will be able to claim that their intention is to provide humanitarian aid, but the statements published by them reveal the true political motives underlying the flotilla.

The case raises broader questions about the use of known public figures as tools for advancing radical political agendas. Thunberg, who gained fame as a young climate activist, is now exploiting her public status to attack Israel and support extreme pro-Palestinian positions. This change raises questions about the forces driving her transition to controversial political activity.

The flotilla takes place against the backdrop of international efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza through official channels. Israel operates controlled mechanisms for aid delivery, but the activists choose to bypass these mechanisms and try to break through directly. This choice indicates that the real goal is not humanitarian aid, but creating political and media conflict with Israel.

The preparations of the flotilla organizers, including legal and media mobilization, reflect careful and professional planning. They learned from the failures of previous flotillas and are trying to put Israel in a difficult dilemma: whether to allow the breach into territorial waters, or act against the ship and risk international criticism. The strategy seeks to put Israel in a no-win situation.

The coming days will test Israel's ability to deal with this complex challenge. The IDF will need to balance between the need to ensure maritime security and the desire to prevent a media event that could harm Israel. The activists on the ship, for their part, will look for any opportunity to provoke a conflict that will serve their propaganda goals and strengthen the legitimacy of their claims against Israel.
