At least 23 people were injured last night in an exceptionally intense Russian attack on the city of Kyiv, which began shortly after the telephone conversation between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. The attack, which included hundreds of drones and 11 cruise and ballistic missiles, caused severe damage in several areas of the Ukrainian capital.

Some of the missiles and drones struck multiple locations in Kyiv, causing severe damage to dozens of residential buildings and hundreds of vehicles. The strikes shattered windows in several areas throughout the city, and for many hours, black smoke columns rose over Kyiv's skies, visible from afar.

Ukrainian forces managed to intercept most of the drones launched toward the city, but only two out of the 11 missiles fired were neutralized by defense systems. The low interception rate of the missiles added to the severity of the heavy damage caused throughout the city.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba responded to the night attack with a sharp post on social media, writing: "A terrible and sleepless night in Kyiv. One of the worst so far. Hundreds of Russian drones and ballistic missiles rained down on Ukraine's capital. Right after Putin spoke with President Trump. And he does this deliberately. Stop waiting! Putin clearly demonstrates his complete contempt for the US and everyone who called for an end to the war".

Kuleba called for imposing the harshest sanctions on Moscow and providing Ukraine with all necessary means for self-defense. His words come against the backdrop of reports that the US is freezing weapons shipments to Ukraine that had already been agreed upon during the previous administration.

"Wrong decisions can only push the aggressor to escalate the terror", added the Ukrainian Foreign Minister. "All criminal regimes in the world are now closely watching Putin's actions and the response to them. If he gets away with this, they will all receive a very clear message. Stop waiting for peace. Act to achieve peace. Peace through strength".

The timing of the attack raises questions about the connection between it and the conversation that took place shortly before between Presidents Trump and Putin. This is a familiar pattern of the Russian president, who has already demonstrated defiant behavior and message-sending at critical times on several occasions.

The night attack joins a long series of Russian attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine nearly three years ago. However, the intensity and timing of this attack highlight the message that Moscow seeks to convey at this sensitive time, when diplomatic attempts to end the conflict are underway.

The heavy strikes on the Ukrainian capital underscore the continuation of violence and destruction in the war, despite diplomatic discussions being held at the highest levels. The night attack serves as a stark reminder that according to the reality on the ground, the war continues to rage against the civilian population in Ukraine.

Dim Amor

Russia is sharpening its position against Israel and working with full force to establish a special UN session on ceasefire, according to reports in Russian media. The move comes against the backdrop of sharp escalation in the Israeli-Iranian confrontation, as Moscow harshly condemns Israeli military operations and seeks to position itself as a regional mediator.

The dramatic events in the region were discussed today in a telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Russia and Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, following the conversation held by the leaders of both countries yesterday. Lavrov emphasized in the conversation that Moscow condemns the Israeli military action and expressed condolences to his Iranian counterpart regarding the high number of casualties from Israeli strikes. The Russian foreign minister added that Russia is prepared to assist in calming the conflict.

Meanwhile, additional details are emerging about the complex diplomacy taking place behind the scenes. U.S. President Donald Trump referred yesterday to his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that most of the conversation dealt with Iran, which Putin "knows excellently". Trump added that both agreed that the war between Iran and Israel should end as soon as possible.

Last evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also held a conversation with Putin, who offered to mediate "to prevent escalation". In a statement published by the Kremlin, Putin noted in his conversation with Netanyahu the "need for a peaceful solution and return to a negotiation process". The move indicates a Russian attempt to position itself as a central mediator in the conflict.

In a separate conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Putin described the Israeli attack against Iran's nuclear facilities as "dangerous escalation." The Kremlin statement emphasized that Moscow condemns the attack that "violates the UN Charter and international law." Putin expressed his "condolences" to Pezeshkian regarding the loss of life in Iran and called for resolving the nuclear crisis through diplomatic means.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov officially declared that Russia condemns the sharp escalation in the confrontation between Israel and Iran and expresses concern about the growing tension between the countries. According to him, President Vladimir Putin is being continuously updated on developments. Peskov added that the Russian Foreign Ministry, under presidential guidance, is expected to soon publish a detailed statement regarding the situation in the Middle East, which will also be transmitted to the United Nations.

However, Russian moves raise questions about the real motives behind Russian condemnation. Since 2014, Russia has been conducting extensive military operations in Ukraine, occupied the Crimean Peninsula, and committed acts described as war crimes. President Putin is even wanted by the International Court in The Hague for crimes in Ukraine. According to estimates, approximately one million people have been killed and hundreds of thousands wounded in the war in Ukraine since its beginning.

Additionally, Russia benefits from Middle Eastern escalation in economic terms as well. The rise in oil prices recorded following Israeli strikes serves Moscow's interests, as it operates under heavy international sanctions. Rising prices give the besieged Russian economy breathing room and provide it with vital maneuvering space in the global arena.

The complex picture indicates a pragmatic Russian policy based on geopolitical and economic interests. Moscow tries to maintain relations with Iran as a strategic ally while attempting to position itself as a leading regional mediator. At the same time, it benefits from the economic consequences of regional instability.

The Russian paradox is expressed in the fact that a country conducting a comprehensive invasion of its neighbor condemns military actions by another country. This testifies to Moscow's double standards policy, which tries to exploit the Middle Eastern crisis to strengthen its international standing while ignoring its own actions in Europe.

The Russian attempt to establish a UN session on ceasefire constitutes part of its efforts to position itself as a mediating power, parallel to attempts to divert attention from its actions in Ukraine. The diplomatic maneuver indicates Russia's desire to return to the center of the international stage, even when it is itself isolated by the international community.

Recent diplomatic moves point to a complex reality where economic and geopolitical interests guide Russian policy more than moral or legal principles. Russia tries to exploit the current crisis to strengthen its position as a regional power while utilizing economic opportunities arising from instability.

In this context, the central question is whether Russia is truly interested in genuine de-escalation in the Middle East, or whether it sees the crisis as an opportunity to advance its interests. The answer will become clear in the coming weeks, when it will be tested whether Russian diplomatic moves will lead to concrete actions or remain at the rhetorical level only.

Time will tell whether Russia will succeed in realizing its aspirations to establish itself as a central mediator in the Middle East, or whether its double standards policy will expose the widening gap between its declarations and its actions. In the complex geopolitical reality of this time, there is no room for diplomatic improvisation, and Russian moves will be judged according to their concrete results and not according to their public statements.

P.S. Nevertheless, it is clearly evident how Russia does not hesitate to abandon its allies when necessary. This year we witnessed this distinctly in the Syrian arena – for Russia has interests, but it doesn't really have friends.

Dim Amor

President Donald Trump announced a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a post on his social media platform but deleted the publication shortly after. The conversation, which lasted about an hour and a quarter, took place against the backdrop of dramatic escalation between Russia and Ukraine following a daring Ukrainian operation that struck dozens of Russian fighter jets deep inside Russian territory.

The conversation between the leaders comes after retired General Keith Kellogg, Trump's envoy for promoting negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, claimed that the Ukrainian operation against military targets in Russia could lead to escalation. This position raises questions, as Russia conducts massive air strikes against Ukraine using the same bombers that were hit in the operation.

According to Trump's deleted post, the conversation was characterized as "good", and during it, Ukrainian deep strikes and "various other attacks that occurred from both sides" were discussed. Trump noted that Putin said "firmly that he would have to respond to the latest attack on Russian air bases". The American president's attitude toward Putin appears similar to that toward any other leader he speaks with by phone, though he seems careful not to irritate the Russian leader.

From the Russian side, Yuri Ushakov, Putin's foreign affairs advisor who was also present during the call, reported on the conversation. Ushakov maintained the familiar Russian approach aimed at presenting a picture of continuous ties between Moscow and Washington and attempting to prove that Russia is interested in advancing the diplomatic track.

According to Ushakov, the conversation began with a discussion of the situation around Ukraine, with Putin providing "detailed information about the results of the second round of direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul." He claimed that "Ukraine tried to disrupt these talks by carrying out targeted attacks on completely civilian targets and civilians on orders from the Kyiv regime".

In a dramatic statement, Ushakov said that "these attacks unequivocally constitute terrorist acts under international law, and in our opinion, the Kyiv regime has actually degraded into a terrorist organization". However, he noted that "the Russian side did not fall into the trap of provocations" and that the second round of talks took place in Istanbul. Ushakov claimed the talks were "productive" and that "the relevant memoranda changed hands and will be analyzed in the capitals – Moscow and Kyiv".

Regarding the Ukrainian attack on air bases in Russia, Ushakov noted that Trump again emphasized that the United States did not know about them in advance. This statement underscores American sensitivity to association with military operations deep inside Russian territory.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented stunning data on the scope of Russian attacks. According to him, since the beginning of 2025, Russia has launched against Ukraine nearly 27,700 aerial bombs, 11,200 "Shahed" drones, 9,000 other attack drones, and over 700 missiles, including ballistic ones.

Zelensky added that "talks with Russia have not even led to a ceasefire, let alone reliable peace. This means that with every new attack, every new rejection of diplomacy, Russia shows the middle finger to the entire world." He emphasized that "Russia is the one that needs to seek peace. It's precisely them there in Moscow who need to feel that war has a price – a big price, and the highest for the aggressor".

The conversation between Trump and Putin took place three days after the dramatic operation dubbed "Spider Web". In this operation, the Ukrainian security service managed to strike dozens of Russian fighter jets and strategic bombers using 117 drones hidden in Russian trucks. These aircraft are used by Moscow to launch long-range missiles at targets inside Ukraine.

The operation was reportedly planned with great care over a year and a half and is apparently the boldest of Kyiv's surprise sabotage operations throughout the war. The action was executed by exploiting unsuspecting Russian truck drivers who thought they were going out on transport missions and were asked to stop near four Russian bases.

One of the bases hit was "Belaya" in Siberia, about 4,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, and another "Olenya" in the Arctic Circle, about 2,000 kilometers from the front. When the trucks stopped, their roofs opened, and from them, drones took off and continued to their targets. According to Kyiv, more than 40 fighter jets and bombers were hit, with damage estimated at $7 billion. Some of the bombers are Tu-22 and Tu-95 models whose production was stopped years ago and therefore cannot be replaced.

The drone operation came several hours after an explosion operation that caused the collapse of two bridges in western Russian regions bordering Ukraine. In the Bryansk region, debris fell on a railway, and a train that was just passing through collided with it. According to Russia, seven people were killed in the collision, and in the evening, Moscow updated that there were also 113 injured in the incident, including children. In the second collapse, of a bridge in the Kursk region, no fatalities were reported. Russia determined these were "terrorist acts" and attributes them to Kyiv.

Putin said the explosion operation proves that Ukraine does not want peace at all, and according to him, it was intended to disrupt the round of talks held between Kyiv and Moscow in Istanbul on Monday, the day after the explosions. "Who actually negotiates with people who put their trust in terror?", Putin asked.

Alongside discussions about Ukraine, the conversation between Trump and Putin also touched on the Iran issue. Trump warned Iran that "time is running out, we will need an absolute answer from it in a very short time!". He noted that Putin offered to help in talks between Washington and Tehran.

Trump's words come against the backdrop of pessimistic signals from Tehran regarding the chance of reaching a nuclear agreement. According to a Reuters report, Iran is preparing to respond negatively to the American proposal, and an Iranian diplomat said the proposal is a "non-starter". According to him, Washington did not compromise on the demand to stop uranium enrichment – the central point of contention in nuclear talks.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei sharply criticized the American proposal, even if he did not explicitly reject it. Khamenei said the American proposal focuses on the issue of Iran's right to enrich uranium and that it contradicts Iranian interests: "Who are you to tell Tehran whether we should have a nuclear program or not?". He declared that Tehran will not give up its uranium enrichment capability and that without it, the nuclear program would be worthless.

The conversation between Trump and Putin and the decision to delete the post about it attest to the complexity of relations between the two superpowers during this sensitive period. While Trump tries to navigate between the need to maintain diplomatic ties and domestic and international pressure, Putin continues to present a firm position aimed at transferring responsibility for the crisis to Ukraine and the West. The deletion of the post perhaps indicates the sensitivity of the subject and the desire to avoid unwanted interpretations at a time when diplomacy is trying to find its way between attacks and revenge.

Dim Amor

The war in Ukraine stands on the brink of dramatic transformation with the approach of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's crucial visit to Berlin on Wednesday. The visit, during which Zelensky will meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, is expected to lead to a dramatic German announcement that will alter the balance of power in the war.

After months of deliberation and diplomatic tension, the assessment is crystallizing in the West that Germany is preparing to supply Ukraine with long-range cruise missiles of the "Taurus" model—a step that President Zelensky has long advocated but which former Chancellor Olaf Scholz refused to implement. The long-awaited decision comes following the clear escalation in Russian attacks and Moscow's refusal to agree to a ceasefire.

In a surprising statement at a media panel held ahead of the visit, Chancellor Merz clarified that Ukraine's main Western allies have removed restrictions on the range of Western weapons supplied to Kyiv. "There are no longer any restrictions on the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine—not by Britain, France, or by us. There are also no restrictions from the United States. This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, for example by attacking military positions within Russia. Until recently it could not do this, and apart from very few exceptions, it did not do so", Merz explained.

This decision does not come out of the blue. Already on April 13, even before his appointment was approved by the Bundestag, Merz announced the possibility of transferring the missiles to Kyiv in coordination with European partners. The issue was extensively discussed during the visit of leaders from Germany, Britain, France, and Poland to Kyiv on May 9, and since then the new European strategy has been taking shape.

The shift in German position gains additional weight when examining the fundamental difference between current policy and that of the previous administration. Britain and France have already supplied Ukrainians with long-range cruise missiles of the "Storm Shadow" model, which have been used lethally against Russian targets, while Germany under Scholz insisted on not supplying German missiles to Ukraine.

If Berlin indeed supplies the "Taurus" missiles to the Ukrainian army, along with lifting the ban on attacking targets with them within Russian territory, this would be a significant development in the course of the war. The missile has a range of 500 kilometers, far beyond the British cruise missiles and US-made ATACMS, and it would give Ukraine the capability to strike strategic targets even in Moscow and other central Russian cities.

This European move reflects a clear trend of increasing military support for Ukraine, but it comes at a complex time of great uncertainty regarding continued US military support. Since Donald Trump's return to the White House, the American president has not approved new military aid packages for Ukraine and has not specified whether he intends to release the $3.85 billion already allocated by Congress to Kyiv.

The current situation shows that Ukrainians are being supplied with the last weapons packages promised by the Biden administration, but no new shipments are expected for the time being. It is unclear whether the White House will allow Ukraine to continue purchasing American weapons, and meanwhile this uncertainty itself encourages Russian President Vladimir Putin and instills confidence in him to continue attacks against Ukraine and intensify them.

Surprisingly, on June 26, 2025, President Trump presented an extremely sharp position against Putin through the Truth Social social network. In a message rare in its severity, Trump wrote: "I always had very good relations with Vladimir Putin from Russia, but something happened to him. He just went completely crazy! He is killing many people unnecessarily—and it's not just about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being fired at cities in Ukraine for no reason at all".

Trump continued and added: "I always said he wants all of Ukraine, not just part of it, and maybe this is proving true—but if he acts this way, it will lead to Russia's downfall!". This statement marks a significant change in the American president's tone toward the Russian leader and may affect the geopolitical dynamics of the conflict.

However, Trump also directed criticism toward the Ukrainian president: "President Zelensky is not helping his country when he speaks the way he speaks. Everything that comes out of his mouth creates problems. I don't like it, and it must stop". Despite the criticism, Trump clarified his position on the war itself: "This is a war that would never have started if I had been president. This is Zelensky's, Putin's, and Biden's war—not Trump's. I'm just trying to extinguish the big and ugly flames that were ignited due to serious incompetence and hatred".

These statements come as Russia continues to escalate its attacks against Ukraine, including strikes on civilian and innocent targets. The harsh reality on the ground is generating growing international pressure to respond forcefully against Russian policy, while simultaneously placing the European Union before the challenge of filling the void created by uncertainty regarding continued American support.

Zelensky's visit to Berlin thus comes at a critical moment, when Germany may lead a coordinated European move that could change the course of the war. The supply of long-range "Taurus" missiles, together with lifting restrictions on their use against targets in Russia, could create a new reality in the conflict and allow Ukraine to adopt a more offensive approach.

The new security reality in which Russia finds itself testifies to a dramatic transformation in the strategic balance of power. Ukrainian drone attacks, penetrating deep into Russian territory and reaching the heart of Moscow, create an unprecedented situation of uncertainty for the Kremlin leadership.

If already at this stage, when Ukraine operates mainly through drones, Russia exposes such noticeable vulnerability, what will happen when more sophisticated missiles reach the capital city? This question troubles not only the Russian population but also the close circles of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Reports from various sources indicate that Putin is considering leaving Moscow and moving to his fortified compound in the Valdai region—a step that would attest to recognition of the severity of the security situation.

The Russian capital is no longer a safe stronghold for the country's leadership.

Russia, which initiated the war as the attacking nation, now finds itself in a defensive position not only in the Ukrainian arena but also within its own borders. This situation could lead to the end of this destructive war.

Dim Amor

Introduction

An unprecedented case that authorities have ignored, where a woman proudly declaring her Nazi views obtained Israeli citizenship despite having no connection to Judaism.

Today we examine the case of Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova, who is neither Jewish by maternal nor paternal lineage. This woman managed to obtain Israeli citizenship while publishing disturbing content on social media that appears to be Nazi in nature. Simultaneously, she expresses deep admiration for Stepan Bandera, a controversial Ukrainian leader who was involved in anti-Semitic activities and collaboration with Nazis during World War II.

In dozens of TikTok videos, Rolovets Novikova unabashedly presents herself as a "Nazi". Her content is filled with expressions of admiration for Nazi ideology and the figure of Stepan Bandera, whom she calls a "hero".

On social media (TikTok), Novikova operates under the stage name and pseudonym: "nanachka04" or "nanachka".

(It should be noted that the videos and images we publish featuring Novikova as a "Nazi" were taken from TikTok, but they are also contained [with transcripts] in court case materials № 55317-07-23)

Critically important detail: During court proceedings, she stated that these were her videos, that she herself wrote about being a "Nazi", personally edited the videos, and uploaded them to the network herself.

Stepan Bandera

Stepan Bandera, toward whom Rolovets Novikova shows great admiration, is an extremely controversial historical figure. Bandera, who operated within the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), is considered in many countries a Nazi collaborationist who was involved in anti-Semitic and anti-Polish activities.

During World War II, Bandera assisted Nazis in creating Ukrainian military units and "mobile groups" that operated against civilian populations. The organization he created was responsible for brutal pogroms in Lviv, Ukraine, during which many Jews were killed.

The international position regarding Bandera reflects the controversial nature of this figure:

In Poland, Bandera and his organization are considered responsible for the genocide of Poles, especially the terrible Volhynian massacre that occurred in 1943-1944. Poles see him as a Nazi collaborationist with innocent blood on his hands.

In Israel, official and public rhetoric is unambiguously negative toward Bandera. The reasons are obvious: his demonstrated anti-Semitism, documented connections of his organization with the Nazi regime, and his active participation in pogroms against Jews. Israel's Foreign Ministry even condemned the heroization of Bandera in Ukraine.

In Germany, historians acknowledge the connections Bandera established with Nazi Germany, especially in 1941. In German public memory, he is perceived not as a positive figure, but as one involved in activities that led to great suffering.

Court Proceedings

Returning to "Nazi" Novikova, in fairness, the case did reach court: in case № 55317-07-23 in magistrate court, Rolovets Novikova was questioned during cross-examination. The session was held behind closed doors, but from revealed details, a disturbing picture emerges.

During questioning, Rolovets Novikova shamelessly stated that she published videos on social media presenting herself as a Nazi. She confirmed in the record before Judge Dagnit Mishali Biton her Nazi views, which raises great bewilderment as to why the court did not react to these serious admissions.

This fact raises difficult questions regarding the judicial system's response to cases of racial incitement and Nazi statements, especially when concerning a person who obtained Israeli citizenship.

Investigation

I undertook a thorough investigation into Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova. During the investigation, I experienced humiliation, threats, absurd situations, and indifference from authorities – but was also able to resume procedures and move forward. The truth is that I, as a journalist, never thought Nazi supporters existed in the State of Israel, and never imagined I would find myself in a situation where authorities show indifference to people like Rolovets Novikova.

A Modern Weininger? A Jew, a "Nazi", and Israeli Citizenship

Around 2013, Ms. Rolovets Novikova met Mr. Vladimir Rolovets, a Jew (according to Interior Ministry records). They met and soon married – there is almost a twenty-year age difference between them.

Novikova is very young, while Vladimir is already an established man of considerable age. A romance that raises bewilderment, but as the great writer Alexander Pushkin said in his work "Eugene Onegin": "All ages are submissive to love".

The main point is that the couple married. Thus, Ms. Novikova gained the opportunity to legally reside in Israel.

Let's pause briefly on her husband, who provided "refuge" to this "Nazi", provided her with shelter, the possibility of obtaining citizenship, and economic support. Vladimir Rolovets — according to data from Israel's Interior Ministry, is considered a "Jew" — arrived from Belarus on March 27, 2001.

However, during our investigation, we discovered disturbing facts. First, it's strange that a person considered Jewish allows his wife to take pride in Nazism — without a shadow of shame and without any consideration for Holocaust survivors, Jews, and other people. After all, Ms. Anastasia Rolovets-Novikova is not only a "Nazi" but also a known anti-Semite. She calls Jews "zhid" or "zhidy".

"Zhid" or "zhidy" are extremely offensive and degrading terms considered in the Western world to be openly anti-Semitic slurs. Under these slogans from 1939 to 1945, Nazis and their accomplices killed many Jews. Already in the 18th and 19th centuries, hundreds of pogroms occurred under the slogan "Beat the zhids, save Russia". In Ukraine until the fifties, it was common to say "zhidyaku — na gillyaku (branch/stick)", and then the expression transformed into "moskalyaku — na gillyaku (branch/stick)" (moskal — Russian, word root from Moscow — moskalka).

Mr. Vladimir Rolovets perceives all these statements as something completely natural. His wife posts content and videos presenting herself as a "Nazi" — and everything appears normal! But why does this happen? Perhaps we have found the real answer.

Photographs have indeed been discovered showing Mr. Vladimir Rolovets inside a church. Apparently, he underwent a conversion process and adopted Christianity. Many will argue that he might have been there as a tourist and photographed himself at the entrance — this is indeed possible, however, doubts arise as to whether this is actually the case.

When the couple married, they conducted a wedding ceremony that included traditional Christian elements, and apparently did not enter into a civil marriage (although it's possible that both were done). Why marry according to Christian tradition if you're not a Christian? After all, Israel recognizes civil marriages! Doesn't this contradict their personal principles? These questions remain unanswered. In 2018, Novikova obtained Israeli citizenship.

Perhaps he merely photographed himself in a church and conducted a Christian wedding without substantial grounds, or perhaps he represents an example of Otto Weininger — that is, a Jew acting against Jews. Incidentally, history knows a figure named Otto Weininger.

In fact, Otto Solomon Weininger (1880-1903) was an Austrian philosopher and baptized Jew who became famous primarily for his chauvinist and auto-antisemitic views. He converted to Christianity and took his own life at age 23, after publishing his racist and monumental book "Sex and Character".

Novikova Incites, Threatens and Defames Israel

Currently, Mrs. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova is conducting activities against the State of Israel. In addition to calling herself a "Nazi" and continuously cursing Jews with slurs, she decided to threaten Israeli Jews and asked viewers and friends during a live broadcast to harm Israeli journalist Roman Tsipin. She stated that she was ready to come to his home with men to cause him physical harm and humiliate him. Furthermore, she announced that if men wanted to obtain his address, she could provide the journalist's address for the purpose of harming him.

Inciting harm against a person is also a criminal offense, and therefore a complaint was filed with the police by the journalist (police case number 220205/2025).

In addition to provocations with posts in which she identifies herself with Nazism, she also misleads the public and incites against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, cursing him. She also incites against Israel and spreads lies among the public using the TikTok platform.

Thus, in her broadcasts she transmitted negative messages against Israel, claiming that Israel allegedly voted in favor of Russia at the UN and did not condemn the seizure of the Crimean Peninsula.

The facts speak otherwise: Israel supported the condemnation of Russia at the UN! Consequently, Mrs. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova is lying to the public.

In 2022, Israel condemned Russia: "A serious violation of the international order".

At the UN General Assembly session on December 17, 2024, resolution A/RES/79/184 was adopted under the title: "Situation of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol".

The resolution was supported by 81 countries, 14 voted against, and 80 abstained. Israel was among the countries that voted in favor of adopting the resolution, confirming its consistent position in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity.

When we turn to the UN world, in fact, according to published data, from 2015 to 2025, Ukraine did not vote for a single pro-Israeli resolution at the UN. During this period, it voted against Israel in 75% of votes, and abstained in the remaining 25%.

In other words, Ukraine did not vote for Israel in any of the UN votes during this period. Israel's votes in favor of Ukraine destroyed its relations with Russia — that is, Israel sacrificed its relations with Russia for Ukraine's sake. And in gratitude, the "Nazi" Novikova continues to transmit messages against Israel to the public in Ukrainian and Russian.

On the other hand, Putin is destroying Ukrainian citizens — and this is unacceptable in any form — the war must be stopped today!

However complex the relations between Israel and Russia may be, unfortunately Israel still prefers Russia in Syria, since there is suspicion that instead of Russia in Syria there would be Iran, Turkey, or Hezbollah. Today Israel prefers Russia, but Israel's votes in the war for justice in Ukraine are having their effect — and relations with Russia have deteriorated.

Novikova – Living Putin Propaganda

For reference, Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova only causes harm to Ukraine. Putin started the war against Ukraine claiming that Ukraine is full of Nazis, and Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova only serves the interests of Russian propaganda – she makes videos and serves as living proof of Ukrainian Nazism.

In practice, in my opinion, there are anti-Semites all over the world, but Putin is wrong in his numbers. Ukraine does not have the number of Nazis that Putin portrays, but Novikova helps Putin continue to assert that Ukrainians are Nazis. When you visit Anastasia Rulobets Novikova's profile, it's clear to everyone that she is a "Nazi" – that is, she carries out Kremlin propaganda, giving Putin a reason to continue the war.

What is Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova's failure? Ukraine indeed does not have millions of Nazis walking the streets – there are few people like her, not many. Ukraine, like any normal country, has laws against Nazis, Nazi supporters, and people who engage in Nazi propaganda, which also carries years in prison when someone is caught promoting Nazism.

We at the "Maakav" system have filed a complaint with Ukrainian authorities regarding the actions of Nazi Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova. Additionally, there is a reason why she supposedly can do anything with impunity. We have received interesting documents that are currently under review by authorities, and we have been asked not to publish information about documents that clarify in whose interests Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova operates and why she engages in incitement, provocations, and support of Nazism, as well as fearlessly calling herself a "Nazi".

It should be noted that Ms. Novikova violates another Ukrainian law regarding dual citizenship. According to Ukrainian legislation, the country does not provide for dual citizenship. Nevertheless, Ms. Novikova holds both Ukrainian and Israeli passports – which constitutes a gross violation of current Ukrainian law.

Novikova Confessed: "I Called Myself a Nazi"

One day, Ms. Novikova decided to file a criminal complaint against Eduard Batkis, who was represented by lawyer Yaniv Cohen. Subsequently, a court hearing took place during which lawyer Yaniv Cohen cross-examined Ms. Rulobets Novikova in the witness stand.

The hearing was held behind closed doors, and therefore we do not have the right to publish the protocols at this stage, however, we have filed a motion in court for approval to publish the protocols and relevant case documents. From the hearing that took place on 26.06.2024, it became clear that Ms. Anastasia Rulobets lied before the court and in the witness stand. Moreover, the most interesting thing is that she confessed that she indeed called herself a "Nazi" on the TikTok social network.

When asked in court about the motives for such behavior (promoting Nazism and identifying with Nazi ideology, as well as insults and incitement to hatred), she stated that it was about following a certain "trend". Ultimately, it turned out that she publicly declared her belonging to "Nazis", which constitutes a serious offense.

Novikova posts content on social networks (TikTok and others) demonstrating support for Nazi ideology, which is a clear violation of Article 3 of the Holocaust Denial Prohibition Law of 1986, which states: "A person who publicly expresses in written or oral form approval, sympathy, or solidarity with acts committed during the Nazi regime and classified as crimes against the Jewish people or against humanity, shall be punished by imprisonment for five years".

In addition, she gave false testimony in court, and it should be particularly emphasized: perjury in court proceedings, especially in criminal proceedings, is classified as a serious criminal offense. The penalty for perjury provides for imprisonment of up to seven years, and in case of material gain, the punishment can be up to nine years of imprisonment. This norm is aimed at preventing obstruction of justice and ensuring the integrity of the judicial process.

We are not entitled to disclose additional information from the protocol, despite its exceptional importance – we await judicial permission to open case materials for their subsequent publication.

Obviously, realizing the seriousness of the situation, Novikova hastily agreed to terminate the court proceedings on the lawsuit she filed herself, since the development of events could turn against her – "the thief's hat burns".

Israeli Police: Holocaust Commemoration Exclusively for Public Perception

Did you think that the Israeli police were unaware of the court protocol's content? Or perhaps unfamiliar with Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova's video materials? In that case, you are mistaken about the actual state of affairs.

The Israeli police have comprehensive information and received all necessary data, however, apparently, they do not show genuine concern for compliance with the Holocaust Law, protection of Holocaust survivors, and suppression of Nazi supporter activities on Israeli territory.

In my opinion, this shows blatant hypocrisy: on Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day, government representatives light memorial candles and demonstrate grief, however, after the mourning events end, they effectively provide indulgence to the "Nazi" and do not take even symbolic measures for her detention. Ultimately, a people who lose memory of their past lose their future.

Essentially, Novikova came to understand that Israeli legislation is not applied in practice, that court testimony has no real significance, and that any statements are permissible. On February 18, 2025, a complaint was filed containing protocols, video recordings, and photographic materials.

The complaint concerned Rulobets Novikova's publications in which she called herself a "Nazi" and distributed video materials on social networks (Nazi propaganda) containing anti-Semitic content and calls for hatred and violence. It was claimed that these publications qualify as offenses according to the Nazi Prohibition Law (1950) and Article 144 of the Criminal Code, which prohibits incitement to racial hatred and violence against ethnic and national groups.

A few days later, Almog Asaf decided to close the case. The proceedings were terminated on March 31, 2025.

Thus, the police once again ignored the situation, having received all materials – while there is no need for additional investigation, since all circumstances are detailed in the court protocol in case No. 55317-07-23 – however, law enforcement agencies remained indifferent to the presence of Nazi supporters on state territory.

It turns out that the intentions were not entirely pure. On May 22, 2025, the "Maakav" editorial office appealed to the police and again explained the legal norms: a clear violation of Article 3 of the Holocaust Denial Prohibition Law of 1986, which states: "A person who publicly expresses in written or oral form approval, sympathy, or solidarity with acts committed during the Nazi regime and classified as crimes against the Jewish people or against humanity, shall be punished by imprisonment for five years".

In addition, we provided protocols recording video materials and messages in which Novikova made insulting statements against an entire people, engaged in incitement, humiliation, support of Nazism (publicly declared her belonging to "Nazism"), and gave false testimony in court (an additional criminal offense).

Police response on case No. 80054/2025: Every statement received by the police containing signs of a criminal offense undergoes professional and thorough examination in accordance with the evidence base, which took place in this case as well. Based on the review of the statement's circumstances, a decision was made to conceal it.

Gali Baharev-Miara: Exposing Legal Hypocrisy

The flagrant hypocrisy of attorney Gali Baharav-Miara, the government's legal counsel, is fully manifested in her selective approach to examining similar legal matters. In the course of her official duties, she was required to review the case of Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova, regarding which a petition was filed on October 30, 2022, to initiate criminal proceedings on charges of incitement to racial hatred and public statements about belonging to "Nazis".

The case, registered under number 22/00008989/22, was promptly dismissed by the legal counsel's office.

The flagrant hypocrisy of attorney Gali Baharav-Miara is expressed in the fact that in a hypothetical case where citizens named Sara Netanyahu or Yair Netanyahu, who are not elected officials, had published similar statements about their belonging to "Nazis", indictments would have been issued against them that very same day. And if Benjamin Netanyahu himself had been involved in acknowledging himself as a Nazi, including the existence of protocols testifying to his adherence to Nazi ideology, the judicial system would have already gone into deep agitation, and Mr. Netanyahu would have immediately received an indictment.

Moreover, attorney Gali Beharav-Miara would have found countless laws and regulations to ensure the filing of charges. However, when it comes to Ms. Anastasia Rulobets Novikova, who publicly and shamelessly declares her Nazi affiliation everywhere, the same attorney Gali Beharav-Miara, the government's legal counsel, maintains absolute silence. Suddenly we discover that she knows how to be silent and maintain quiet, apparently only when it comes to citizen Benjamin Netanyahu, his family, or his supporters—then she opens her mouth.

In reality, when people of non-Jewish origin live in our country, taking anti-Semitic and Nazi positions, due to the lack of governmental activity on this issue (police, prosecution, Ministry of Justice, and courts), anti-Semites and Nazis are given the opportunity to live in Israel and harm citizens, and moreover—these same anti-Semites enjoy all the benefits of the state, while government agencies remain blind to the situation.

When we began investigative work, we sent to the Ministry of Justice press service and the State Prosecutor's Office protocols and TikTok videos that were attached to the case and transcribed within the judicial process (case number 55317-07-23). It should be noted that the protocol for the case was published only in 2024, while the complaint to the prosecutor's office was filed in 2022. Nevertheless, it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel—the State Prosecutor's Office officially confirmed that as a result of our appeal and submission of new evidence in the case, the prosecutor's office began review and will notify us upon completion of the process.

The State Prosecutor's Office reported: "The appeal has been forwarded for action, a response will be sent to you, if necessary, after measures are taken".

Novikova's Extremist Statements in Exclusive Interview

We, at the "Maakav" editorial office, conducted a conversation with Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova and asked her about her statements. She did not deny publishing her messages about being a Nazi, but informed us that she indeed published this and explained that it was about a "trend" of being a Nazi. This sounds like nonsense—I don't know of a "trend" of being a killer of Jews.

We saw her publications expressing endless love for Stepan Bandera (who was an accomplice and collaborated with the Nazis), and she even published a video where she kisses a photograph of Stepan Bandera.

In the interview, she told us that for her, Stepan Bandera is a wonderful hero. Additionally, she claimed that only his biography exists at Yad Vashem, and according to her words, Yad Vashem has no complaints about his activities. She also reported that she contacted Yad Vashem, and they notified her that Stepan Bandera is "okay".

Naturally, this claim is incorrect. First, Yad Vashem does not publish information about Nazis and their supporters without good reason. Second, he indeed helped, supported, and collaborated with Nazi Germany—that is, helped them in killing Jews.

Moreover, we officially contacted Yad Vashem and clarified on what sources they base their information, and whether he is still considered according to current data a supporter and accomplice of Nazis—and the answer was positive.

Furthermore, we were sent two additional articles from which it follows (after careful study) that Bandera indeed helped, assisted, and collaborated with the Nazis. However, he also had Nazi ideology, and according to the articles, it can be interpreted that he was a Nazi in the full sense of the word. But in principle, there is no significant difference between a Nazi and a person who fully supported them and helped them destroy Jews and other peoples.

From our correspondence with Yad Vashem follows (translation):

"As is customary in the scientific community, we rely on research by leading world experts in this field. In individual cases, when no serious research that can be trusted has yet been published, we turn to primary sources or conduct our own research—if this is defined as a goal.

Regarding the question about Bandera, we recommend familiarizing yourself with two important books:

• John-Paul Himka, Ukrainian Nationalists and the Holocaust: OUN and UPA's Participation in the Destruction of Ukrainian Jewry, 1941–1944 (Stuttgart: Ibidem, 2021).

• Grzegorz Rossolinski-Liebe, Stepan Bandera: The Life and Afterlife of a Ukrainian Nationalist: Fascism, Genocide, and Cult (Stuttgart: Ibidem-Verlag, 2014)".

Stepan Bandera

Bandera was a member of the "Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists". On February 10, 1940, Bandera's supporters in Krakow proclaimed him head of the organization, and the organization split. In April 1941, Bandera was elected to lead the breakaway part of the organization.

On the eve of the German invasion of the Soviet Union, Bandera helped the Nazis in creating Ukrainian battalions, and "mobile groups" were also created. On June 22, 1941, Nazi Germany violated the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact and invaded the Soviet Union as part of Operation Barbarossa. German forces together with Stepan Bandera's men captured the Volyn region and began the massacre of Jews and Polish Catholics, residents of the region. The massacre was also actively participated in by partisan forces of the "Ukrainian Insurgent Army", subordinated to the "Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists".

Between 1942 and 1944, all Jewish communities in Volyn were destroyed by German Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists. Pogroms against Jews began in the city of Lviv in the Galician region. Between June 30 and July 3, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists staged a pogrom against the Jews of Lviv, in which about 4,000 Jews were killed and many others suffered. Despite the fact that Bandera and his supporters advocated cooperation with the Germans in the fight against the Soviets, the German authorities did not approve the organization's proclamation of Ukrainian independence, and therefore Stepan Bandera was arrested and sent to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. However, Bandera's organization continued its activities.

Involved in the murder of Jews—such is the hero of Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova. This fact shows us what heroes Novikova, a citizen of the State of Israel, reveres.

I will note clearly and plainly: although Ukraine sees Stepan Bandera, a former Nazi accomplice, as a "hero", in Israel he is definitely not considered a hero, and the position of the State of Israel should be respected. There is no need to proclaim Bandera a hero in Israel.

Essentially, Ukraine is not obligated to comply with Israeli laws about the Holocaust or respect Israel itself, however, when people are on Israeli territory, they must respect its laws, customs, and Israeli traditions.

Israel does not impose its heroes on foreigners, but also does not tolerate situations where other peoples impose controversial heroes on Jews in their own state. Similarly, Ukraine cannot expect unlimited love from Israel when a killer of Jews is recognized as a hero there.

Additionally, we asked Novikova if she understands that she is insulting the Prime Minister and violating the defamation law. Novikova's answer was: "Let Bibi sue me".

Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova concluded the conversation by stating that she lives in a democratic state and has the right to say whatever she wants, and no one can dictate to her what to say.

What Does the Bandera Admirer Do?

So, how does Ms. Anastasia Rolovets Novikova make a living?

She works as an educator in a kindergarten—she has a private kindergarten business. It's interesting to know what she teaches children with her reverence for such questionable heroes, support for Nazis, and statements that she is a Nazi—what she can instill in the tender minds of such young children. These grave questions cause deep concern.

It's interesting why in Israel she named the kindergarten "Mashenka"—in purely Russian language, and not in Hebrew or Ukrainian.

However, we will tell about her double standards in an additional investigation—after the relevant authorities check certain documents we received from a reliable source. The documents, it should be noted, are quite curious.

Novikova's Husband: "Drop Dead"

Additionally, we conducted a conversation with Novikova's husband, Mr. Vladimir Rolovets.

We asked him what he thinks about his wife stating in court protocols that she is a "Nazi". He answered: "Drop dead", "I'll sue you". I asked him if he had changed his religion—he neither denied nor confirmed anything and ended the conversation.

We sent him written questions—he did not bother to answer.

Responses:

State Prosecutor's Office: "The appeal has been forwarded for action, a response will be sent to you, if necessary, after measures are taken".

Israel Police — case number 220205/2025 (open case against Novikova): From the Israel Police reported: "Every complaint that comes to the police and raises suspicion of committing a criminal offense is checked professionally and thoroughly in accordance with the evidence base, and so in this case. Any other claim is incorrect and subject to rejection at the threshold".

Court: The decision on the case has not yet been made.

Novikova's and her husband's responses are published in the article in full.

Ministry of Justice: Response not yet received.

All photos and videos are in the original Hebrew article – click here to view

By: Dim Amor

Moscow declared a ceasefire for the Orthodox Easter holiday, but Ukrainian civilians continue to suffer from relentless attacks. Reports from the ground indicate that the promise remains hollow.

While Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly announced a temporary ceasefire in honor of the Orthodox Easter holiday, the reality on the ground tells a completely different story. Residents of many Ukrainian cities reported heavy bombardments that continued without interruption, with direct hits on residential buildings just today.

"Some ceasefire", said one local resident sarcastically whose home was damaged in the latest bombing. "We are supposed to be celebrating the holy holiday, and instead we find ourselves hiding in shelters".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Russian declaration in a speech delivered last night: "We have no trust in Putin's words. His promises are worth nothing". He added that "the strategy of bombing people who are celebrating Easter is a cruel and inhumane act".

This is not the first time Russia has violated declared ceasefires. International security experts note that the gap between the Kremlin's official statements and the reality on the ground continues to widen as the war persists.

The world discovers time and again that the Russian president is a liar, that declarations of ceasefire are primarily media maneuvers designed to improve Putin's image in the eyes of the international community, while in practice the attacks continue.

The targeted attacks during religious holidays reflect a calculated strategy on Russia's part. There is a deliberate attempt here to damage the morale of the Ukrainian population during times that should be joyful and sacred.

This policy has drawn harsh historical comparisons. Several senior Ukrainian leaders have called Putin a "devil" and have even dared to compare him to dark leaders from the past such as Adolf Hitler, claiming that he is pursuing a policy of indiscriminate destruction and killing.

When you bomb residential buildings while residents are celebrating one of the most important holidays in the Christian calendar, you cross a moral red line; it demonstrates a complete disregard for human life. It demonstrates a complete disregard for human life.

In the international community, there are growing calls to increase sanctions against Russia following the repeated violations of declared ceasefires. Representatives of Western countries at the UN Assembly expressed deep shock at the continued attacks on civilians during a religious holiday.

The Russian "Ceasefire" – Another Deception from Putin's Workshop

The shattered residential buildings in Kherson stand as living testimony to Vladimir Putin's absolute hypocrisy. "Ceasefire"? Who actually placed faith in this promise? Are these not the same buildings that sustained attacks from Russian unmanned aerial vehicles mere moments after the supposed "unilateral ceasefire" was to take effect, which our contemporary Tsar declared for the Easter holiday?

This is the embodiment of cynicism in its purest form – to declare a ceasefire on a sacred date, and then rain shells upon the dwellings of innocent civilians. Is there a clearer expression of absolute contempt for basic human values?

As a senior commander in the Ukrainian army stated: "There is no ceasefire in existence. On all fronts, the Russians continue firing, without any change". His words do not arouse wonder. When did Putin last honor his word?

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, articulated it precisely when he said: "Putin has now declared his supposed willingness for a ceasefire. Thirty hours instead of thirty days. Unfortunately, we are witnessing a long history of his declarations, which do not align with his actions".

The world still regards Putin's declarations as if they hold some value, as if they are worthy of the paper on which they are written. However, history consistently teaches us: Putin's promises are merely tools in his strategic game, devoid of any real value.

"We know that his words cannot be trusted", added Sybiha, "and we will judge him by his actions, not by his statements".

It is time for the international community to adopt this approach. The time has come to cease treating Moscow's declarations as something worthy of attention, and to begin looking solely at actions on the battlefield.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also reminded us of the fact that "Russia can agree at any time to the proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire for thirty days, which has been on the table since March". That same ceasefire which, according to both sides, has been violated repeatedly.

But are both sides truly equally culpable? In my opinion, the answer is clear as day. While Ukraine struggles for its survival, for its sovereignty, Russia continues its cynical power games, trampling every possible international norm.

A "ceasefire" in Putin's mouth is like "peace" in the mouth of a tyrant – an empty word intended to serve only his personal interests. The destroyed residential buildings in Kherson are the chilling evidence of this.

To the 'Maakav' agency, a Red Cross spokesperson stated: 'We are documenting every violation of the ceasefire. We have teams deployed throughout the combat zone, reporting on strikes against civilian residences and public institutions, in complete contradiction to the official statements emanating from the Kremlin. At our disposal are field personnel who testify to impacts on residential homes and community buildings, in total contrast to the claims declared by Moscow'.

The human distress continues with intensity. Medical facilities in the area report a new wave of casualties following the recent air attacks. Many families were forced to conduct Easter ceremonies in underground shelters, where the sounds of prayers and hymns were swallowed by the echoing thunder of falling shells.

By: Dim Amor

According to information published in Russia, Israel has been invited to the May 9 parade in Moscow, although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not expected to attend. Instead, Israel will be represented by its ambassador to Russia, Simona Halperin.

A sharp open letter was sent today to Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Knesset Member Sharren Haskel, and Israel's Ambassador to Russia, Simona Halperin, demanding the cancellation of Israel's participation in the May 9 parade in Moscow.

This is one big hallucination – how can Israeli representatives sit beside dictators? I, by virtue of my position as a media person, hereby express an uncompromising demand for a comprehensive and in-depth explanation – and it should be made clear that this is not a casual inquiry, but a firm and unequivocal demand! Should Israel's involvement in the event in question continue, I will order extensive demonstrations outside the Foreign Ministry and the Prime Minister's official residence.

Putin's hands are stained with blood – the blood of murdered Ukrainian Jews, Israelis suffering from Hamas, LGBTQ+ people murdered in Chechnya, journalists murdered in their attempt to tell the truth. His hands are also stained with blood from his war against Georgia, from inconceivable acts in Africa and Syria carried out by Wagner (an integral part of the Russian army), and from the blood of hundreds of thousands killed and wounded in Ukraine.

It is important to raise awareness about Russia's nature: Russia stands almost in the position of an enemy state. The Foreign Ministry should be reminded of the following facts:

Following the October 7 events, Hamas representatives visited Moscow many times. Russia provides weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah and supports Iran. In Russia, Hamas and Hezbollah organizations are not defined as terrorist organizations but as political movements fighting for freedom.

It was Russia that declared on its own initiative the State of Palestine and established a Palestinian embassy in Moscow. Russian missiles continue to land in Israeli territory to this day. "Kalashnikov" weapons, which Russia supplied to Hamas, were used in the October 7 events to murder Jews.

After the October 7 events, Russia refrained from supporting Israel and justified Hamas's actions. In the state media channels in Russia, after these events, Israelis and Jews are called "Nazis". In the twenty-first century, particularly on Russian soil, cruel pogroms against Jewish people occurred, including the burning of a synagogue and a pogrom at the airport in Dagestan province.

Russia is responsible for the extermination of the Ukrainian people, including the murder of Ukrainian Jews, among them Holocaust survivors. The number of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine is enormous, including the systematic taking of Ukrainian territories.

We will not elaborate on the blatant human rights violations occurring in Russia under the current regime, such as legislation against the LGBTQ+ community (and the murder of homosexuals in Chechnya). In the Russian regime, decades of imprisonment have been imposed on writers and intellectuals for daring to make their free voices heard in a place where true democracy is absent. And much more beyond that. In addition, Russia recognizes Tel Aviv as the capital of Israel, not Jerusalem, consistently works for the return of the Golan Heights, and consistently votes against Israel in UN committees.

As evidence and example, a person with homosexual tendencies will be sentenced to twelve years in Russian prison, while any citizen who dares to write a call such as "enough war" or "the conflict with Ukraine must end" – is sentenced to ten years in prison. In contrast, murderers are punished with a light sentence of only about four years in prison.

Putin is a tyrant whose evil deeds now surpass those of Hitler. When we look back and see leaders who sat alongside Hitler at the Olympics or state events – those countries still bear eternal shame because their leaders honored Hitler and Germany under his rule. Does Israel want to be in such an embarrassing situation?

What will we say to our young generation – how will we explain that we, a people who experienced an attempted extermination, sat alongside a cruel dictator who is currently, in 2025, exterminating other peoples (including Jews)? About three hundred thousand Jews live in Ukraine (although their number has probably decreased significantly, as many have been murdered).

It is absurd that on May 9, Israeli representatives will sit together with Putin in his false "parade". I wonder if they will sit together with dictator Lukashenko and Hamas representatives?

There is no disrespect for May 9. It is an important day, Victory Day, and it is necessary to remember and honor this day. It is the day when the war ended and victory over Nazi Germany was achieved – there is no point in sitting with a dictator to honor one day or another.

I demand – not ask – demand an explanation: How can such a thing be? How will Israel sit together with supporters of Hamas and murderers of the Ukrainian people and Ukrainian Jews?

There is a limit to cooperation with the devil and an admirer of Hitler. Putin must understand that he is not welcome and not accepted in democracies.

Victory Day over the Nazis is a significant day, but the parade in Moscow has long since transformed from a memorial event to a propaganda tool in the hands of the Russian regime. Instead of honoring the memory of millions of Soviet citizens killed in the war against the Nazis, Putin has turned the day into a celebration of nationalism and self-glorification.

The decision to participate in the May 9 parade goes beyond a technical question of diplomatic representation. It is a value judgment concerning the core of Israeli identity. Can the State of Israel, which arose from the ashes of the Holocaust, participate in an event alongside a regime that provides weapons to organizations calling for its destruction? Can the Jewish community in Israel and around the world stand by when its representatives grant legitimacy to a state supporting its sworn enemies?

Somewhere deep in my soul, I still wish to believe this is but a Russian deception and that Israel has not granted its approval, but sadly, the Israeli Embassy in Russia has confirmed that the ambassador will indeed take part, and all Russian media outlets have published announcements and information about May 9, with Israel's representation appearing on the list of participants alongside dictatorial regimes.

The implication of this is clear to any reasonable person – but apparently not to the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the Israeli government.

We find ourselves at a historic turning point. Israel cannot dance at two weddings – it cannot fight terrorism and at the same time associate with its supporters. It cannot demand international solidarity against the Iranian threat while simultaneously recognizing a regime that provides Iran with advanced military technology.

Participation in the May 9 parade will be not only a moral stain but also a strategic mistake. It will send a message of weakness to our enemies and confuse our allies. Documentation of Israeli representatives sitting alongside Putin at the parade will become a propaganda tool in the hands of the Russian regime, which will be able to present Israel as agreeing with its policy.

As citizens in a democratic state, we must not remain silent in the face of dangerous decisions. The bitter truth is that Russia under Putin's rule has become one of the most dangerous factors for Israel's security and world peace. It feeds the axis of evil, provides weapons and technology to regimes hostile to Israel, and prepares the ground for the continued struggle against the existence of the Jewish state.

May 9 is a day to remember the victory over Nazism. But much more important is to remember the price our people paid to gain independence and security. When we surrender to short-term diplomatic considerations and ignore the real threats, we abandon the memory of the fallen and endanger the future of generations to come.

The time has come to say clearly: There is no place for Israeli representation at the May 9 parade in Moscow. Israel must remain faithful to its values and long-term interests. We must not lend a hand to Putin's attempt to present himself as a friend of the Jewish people, while in practice he provides weapons and legitimacy to our bitterest enemies.

This is not a matter of political right or left. It is an issue of national responsibility. The State of Israel must stand firm against threats to its existence, even when it involves a diplomatic price. History will judge us not by our ability to please dictators, but by our courage to stand by our principles.

Additional leaders who received an invitation from President Putin to participate in the May 9 parade (besides Israel): President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko; President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev; President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov; Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan; and President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. Invitations were also sent to the leaders of Vietnam, Mongolia, and Laos, as well as to Abu Mazen and his representatives. Given the list of invitees, Israel should seriously consider its place and status in this context.

Putin Turns His Back: Despite Gagauzia Governor Evghenia Gutsul's appeal to the Russian President to rescue her from detention in Moldova, the Kremlin remains indifferent and she will remain in prison for at least three more weeks

Evghenia Gutsul, governor of the pro-Russian autonomous region of Gagauzia in Moldova, was arrested yesterday while attempting to flee the country to Russia. Moldovan law enforcement extended her detention by 20 days, with suspicions against her pointing to receiving funding from Moscow aimed at undermining the central government in the country.

Gutsul's arrest occurs against the backdrop of growing tensions ahead of the parliamentary elections expected this summer in Moldova, elections perceived as a decisive moment for the future direction of the small country situated between Romania and Ukraine. Gutsul, who met with President Putin about a year ago, is suspected of being part of Russian influence efforts aimed at disrupting Moldova's integration process with the European Union.

Gagauzia, the autonomous region governed by Gutsul, received its special status following a referendum held in 1994. The region, with its relatively small area of 1,820 square kilometers, is home to approximately 150,000 residents and is considered an area with distinct pro-Russian tendencies. Its strategic location in southern Moldova and the unique cultural identity of its inhabitants have made it a focal point for Moscow's influence efforts over the years.

President Maia Sandu, recently elected for a second consecutive term, is leading a strong policy of integration with the European Union, a process seen as an anchor of hope for Moldova – a small and poor country seeking to improve its economic and political situation. This policy stands in sharp contrast to Russia's interests in the region, which aims to preserve its influence in an area it considers its "backyard."

The bold decision by Moldovan law enforcement to arrest a senior figure like Gutsul reflects the country's ongoing struggle against foreign influence on its electoral systems. According to reports, Gutsul attempted to appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin after her arrest, requesting his intervention on her behalf, but it seems the Kremlin was unable – or unwilling – to extend a helping hand.

This event joins a long series of tensions between Moldova and Russia in recent years, as Chișinău accuses Moscow of repeated attempts to interfere in its internal affairs and sabotage its path to full integration with the European Union. Regional experts assess that Gutsul's arrest represents only the tip of the iceberg of an extensive Russian influence network in the country.

President Sandu has repeatedly declared that Moldova is facing a "hybrid war" from Russia, including media manipulation, energy pressure, and attempts to undermine political stability. The upcoming summer elections are viewed as a critical juncture that will test the country's ability to resist these pressures and continue on its Western path.

Now, with Gutsul detained for at least three weeks, Moldovan authorities hope to complete the investigation and expose the full extent of Russian involvement in local politics. Investigators are focusing on the funding sources used by Gutsul, as well as her connections with various Russian entities.

As for Moldova, standing at a historic crossroads between East and West, the fight against foreign influence constitutes an essential component in its efforts to establish its sovereignty and independence. In the coming weeks and months, as the election campaign heats up, additional attempts to sway local public opinion are expected – and the authorities' response to the Gutsul affair indicates their determination to confront these threats.

Meanwhile, the European Union continues to support Moldova's integration efforts, viewing it as a potential candidate for membership, and providing significant economic and political assistance. The struggle for Moldova's future is in full swing, and the Evghenia Gutsul case illustrates the complexity and challenges on its path toward Europe.

"We have not withdrawn from any position", declares a senior Russian general.

The Russian army has expanded its military activity along the buffer zone on the Israel-Syria border in the Golan Heights, as reported yesterday (Monday) by the official Syrian news agency "SANA". According to the report, two new military positions have been established, joining seven existing positions in the area.

Deputy Commander of Russian Forces in Syria, General Alexander Rodionov, denied opposition reports about the evacuation of Russian positions in the region. "Not only have we not withdrawn from any position, but we have also increased our presence at several points along the border," Rodionov told the news agency.

The expansion of Russian presence comes amid growing tensions between Moscow and Jerusalem. Last week, Putin's representative for Syrian affairs, Alexander Lavrentiev, raised accusations against Israel regarding an attack carried out in early October near the Russian Hmeimim base. In an interview with "RIA Novosti" news agency, Lavrentiev claimed that the Israeli attack endangered the lives of Russian soldiers.

"The attack was not directed at the base itself, as this would have had serious consequences for Israel, and they are well aware of this," said Lavrentiev. "According to our information, the target was a warehouse or another building in the area". He added that Russia lodged a strong protest with Israel following the incident.

A senior Syrian army official told "SANA" that Russian military police units play a central role in stabilizing the security situation in the area. According to him, their presence helps local residents return to their homes and daily routines "after the area was liberated from terrorism".

The Russian presence in Syria began in 2015, when Moscow responded to the Assad regime's request to intervene in the country's civil war. Since then, Russia has become a key player in the Syrian arena, establishing its strategic influence in the region.

Recent developments highlight the growing complexity of Israel-Russia relations, particularly against the backdrop of the situation in Syria. The increased Russian presence in the buffer zone may affect Israel's freedom of operation in the area and its ability to act against security threats on its northern border.

Desperate Call for International Support to Save Ukraine and Stop Russian Aggression. The World Faces a Fateful Decision: Will It Wake Up in Time or Allow Putin to Expand the War?

Kyiv, October 16, 2024 – Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, delivered a scathing speech to the Ukrainian Parliament today, presenting his country's "Victory Plan" and sharply criticizing Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin. Zelenskyy accused Putin of thwarting all peace efforts and called on the international community to act urgently.

"Russia is not seeking genuine peace. Putin only wants war", Zelenskyy declared emphatically. "We must change the circumstances so that the war ends, regardless of Putin's desires".

The Ukrainian President emphasized that his country proposed a "peace formula" two years ago and held successful peace summits. However, he said, "Russia still evades honest diplomacy and issues ultimatums".

Zelenskyy presented Ukraine's "Victory Plan", which he said is designed to "bridge to the second peace summit, with the aim of ending the war". He expressed hope that if the plan receives international support, the war could be ended by the end of next year.

The Ukrainian President warned that "if we and our partners don't strengthen ourselves now, Putin will significantly strengthen himself next year to postpone diplomacy forever". He stressed that "Russia must lose. This is not a freezing of the situation, it's not trading sovereignty. We must implement the victory plan and force Russia to participate in the peace summit".

Political sources in Ukraine emphasize that the world forgets that people are dying in Ukraine every minute, and that a brutal war is raging in central Europe that has already claimed the lives of about a million people on both sides. They express deep concern about reports of Russia's purchase of a million missiles from North Korea, and accuse the United States and Europe of abandoning Ukraine and failing to supply weapons as promised.

Security officials in Ukraine warn that if Putin wins in Ukraine, the next countries in line could be Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia. They call on the international community to increase support for Ukraine and exert more pressure on Russia.

Military experts estimate that the situation at the front remains tense, with fierce battles taking place in several areas. They emphasize the importance of Western military aid for Ukraine's defense and warn of the possibility of further escalation by Russia.

Human rights organizations continue to document alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces and call on the international community to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

Zelenskyy's speech and the presentation of the "Victory Plan" mark a new stage in Ukraine's struggle for its independence and territorial integrity. The world now waits to see how the international community will respond to Zelenskyy's urgent call for action, and whether it will indeed be possible to bring an end to the bloody war in the near future.
